Great, my mom comes to visit and I start coming down with some sort of illness. It might be nothing, but I started today with a persistent headache that developed into dizziness while my mom and I were heading downtown for lunch. Eating made me feel a bit better but it wasn’t much of a lunch – just a Louis salad, small piece of bread, and a few bites of my mom’s dessert. That was at the restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel.
Now that we’re back at home and I’m taking in some more substantial food I’m feeling a little better. We had grand plans to go to Rainbow for groceries to make soup for dinner tonight. I think that’s a non-option at this point. Looks like we’ll have another hodgepodge dinner like last night’s, which wasn’t bad. I made another batch of my new favorite salad dressing and threw together a frittata made with a Mori-nu tofu block and 3 eggs plus some veggies.

Lee skipped the gym this morning so I had breakfast with him before hitting the pool a little later. My swim was actually quite nice. I was super sore from Body Pump but swimming felt good on my muscles and my weird head thing hadn’t kicked in yet.

We have tickets to see The Lion King in 3D tonight so I’d better start feeling better! The Lion King is my absolute favorite Disney movie so this special release is a great birthday present!
